Sites for Chorley: Issues and Options Paper

Please copy and paste then send the following statement along with your name and address before 31st January  to envldf@lancashire.gov.uk

To put your objections in about Chorley's Council's Core Strategy

"I would like to object to the proposed allocation of some sites in Clayton-le-Woods to housing use. The sites are: CH0109;CH0197;CH0172;CH0163;CH0167;CH0168. My reasons for objection are: 1) The housing needs in Chorley Borough can largely be met through existing allocations and brownfield sites and there is no need to allocate more green land for housing.

2) These sites, on the area between Wigan Road, Lancaster Lane and Shady Lane, including a Biological Heritage Site and provide a valuable amenity for local residents to enjoy the natural environment. As this area is greatly valued by local people as open space, I would like to propose that it is returned to green belt.

Please download this letter regarding the planning appeal in Clayton-Le-Woods.

To be taken into account, your views must be made known to both parties to the appeal.  It would, therefore, help if you would send three copies of your letter.  The copies will then be sent to the other parties involved.

Click here for the downloadable letter

Please ensure representations are at the appeal by 21st January 2011
