I think someone ought to be congratulating both steve Murfitt and Dave Rogerson upon there election onto Chorley Borough Council.
Having been the man to beat (yes, I was previously the Conservative Borough Councillor for Clayton North), I know at first hand how diligently they worked (often with little reward).
I often know that these two newly elected Councillors will be true stalwarts for the different communities they represent and that they will put the needs and care of the electoral (regardless of political persussions), above all else.
Well done gentlemen and long may you both be Councillors.
You have certainly deserved to be elected and deserve the recognition that that brings.

The 20mph proposal has been done in other counties. It is without the inconvienience or expense of traffic calming measures eg. humps , chicanes etc.
Also you can make your voice heard via going to the contact us page or givng any of us a ring. We'd be more than happy to hear from you .
